Pizza (goodbye to the Hendriksens part two)

We repeated our favourite "Wednesday Morning Outing" in honour of the Hendriksens' departure. We made pizzas at a local pizza place/supermarket. This time the cook was away so they were taught to make pizza by the Italian owner.
Maxi and Reuben watched together


Then were the first to want goes.


The Italian's reaction to teaching toddlers to make pizza was "children can't make pizza - if they can, I'll employ them", but by the time 5 or 6 of them had had a go he seemed to be having a
fantastic time! It was a relief, as we didn't want him to ban the chief from doing it another time.
Odd use for a paint brush no. 1.
Reuben wouldn't let me take a picture of him eating his pizza, so this is the only one I got of a finished pizza.
We then went back to John's house for some more celebrations. The Mums chatted on the veranda.
Whilst the children entertained themselves remarkably quietly inside (although there was a huge mess at the end).
